Babble & Hemp is a London-based menswear brand founded in 2019 by Charlie Thomas. We partnered with them to refresh their brand identity and redesign their website. We began with the brand identity. The goal was to refine the messaging so it better connected with customers and supported the brand’s long-term positioning. To do this, we reviewed feedback from across the customer journey, including over 500 website reviews, to understand what really mattered to their audience, both functionally and emotionally. This insight helped us craft messaging that felt authentic and compelling. To support Babble & Hemp’s ambition to move upmarket, we also updated the visual identity. This included a refined logo, a more sophisticated colour palette, and elevated typography, all designed to enhance the brand’s perceived value. The new identity was rolled out across all online touchpoints. With the refreshed brand in place, we moved on to the website. The brief here was twofold: to bring the new brand identity to life online and to improve the site’s performance. We worked closely with Charlie to map out the ideal site structure, combining his vision with proven best practices in e-commerce. From there, we created detailed wireframes and built a new Shopify site, taking care to preserve all existing analytics and marketing integrations. The new website went live following testing, and the impact was clear. Average order value rose by 14%, and 12% more customers made it from cart to checkout. This uplift translates to an estimated £53k in additional annual revenue, assuming consistent month-on-month performance.
